Our members: full-service partners for farmers

Intercoop Europe represents 16 of the largest agricultural cooperative companies in Europe. All members are directly or indirectly majority-owned by farmers. Their cooperative purpose is to supply farms with the necessary means of production and to support them in bringing their goods to market.

With their activities in the agricultural, retail and energy sectors, our members also act as a link between farmers and consumers, meeting basic needs of society and occupying a supply-relevant position.

Intercoop House & Garden Cooperative

Intercoop House & Garden Cooperative is a procurement organisation with 14 members from 11 European countries. IC has its headquarters in Biel/Bienne in Switzerland.

With more than 5,000 retail outlets and a purchasing volume of approx. 3 bn euros, the IC Group is the leading purchasing organisation for cooperative retailers in Europe.

Almost all members are agricultural cooperatives that successfully operate retail outlets in addition to their agricultural business. The majority of the Intercoop H&G members are member of Intercoop Europe.

Intercoop House & Garden acts as a link between members and suppliers. Our mission is to coordinate and optimise goods procurement for our members’ retail business. The strategic product categories are garden, pet, household and DIY products

“The members of Intercoop Europe supply farms with the necessary means of production and support them in bringing their goods to market.”
